New Server for OFP

Operation Flash Point Resistance has been moved to the new server. It should work a lot better now, with much less delay loading missions.

The server will not allow use of the #vote admin command as of 3pm EST Mar.20 /11
so we cannot play, would an admin plz help with this?

You might have had less than 3 players on line, in which case you could not vote. I've changed the minimum number to 2 (if you are on by yourself, you can pick any mission) with 51% vote required to pick the mission or elect an administrator. So if 2 are on line, both have to agree, if 3 are on, 2 out of 3 have to agree and so on.

Cob Members can always log on as admin.

thank you, i'm sure this will come in handy because march break is now over and we will probably not be seeing 8+ on most of the time anymore :/

ok so NOW. the server has apparently reached maximum clients?
it is running 16 people on 'One Step In Hell' which is 3-24... does this mean that our server actually has a limit? i thought the limit was based on the particular game we were playing and the rest would sit in the lobby? No? ..just curious

The server itself is limited to 16 at this time. I'm not sure if I can push it any harder without performance problems, and the bandwidth of my connection. Some of the missions were written for high capacity servers. Some missions have a lot of slots to give a wide choice of type of soldier you can play, e.g. AT soldier, AA soldier, Sniper, etc.

has there been any changes to the server lately? i can;t find our server through the in-game multiplayer option. luclily i ran xfire once through it and its on my recent servers. but i prefer not to, as it restricts my ability to alt+tab. but yeah... it's not there for me

It's been renamed "Cob Squad" from "Clan of Brothers", so check your filter settings.
