OPF Squad Night

OFP Squad Night officially starts at 2000 EDT, but of course you are free to log into the game server and play at any time. Due to problems people are having with TS3, voice communications will be conducted via X-fire. If you do not have an account there, now is the time to set one up.

Per stated policy, if there are four or more members on the server at 2000 EDT, we will lock the server, unless those present vote to keep it open. If there are less than four members, we'll keep it unlocked so as to have more people to play with.

There will be no official OFP squad night on December 24th or December 31st because of holiday distractions, but anyone is welcome to play on the server if you get bored with the holiday stuff.

Will squadnights be during fridays like old days or now will be opened to everyday?

Squadnights will be Friday at 8 PM ET, but if you want to organize an "unofficial" squad night at other times, feel free to do so.

We had a pretty good squad night on 28 Jan 2011. Only bad thing was my game computer kept having frequent CTDs, but it looks like the server has been OK for everyone. OFP still gets the most public traffic of any games that we support.

i shall be back in action shortly i hope and pray, ive to reinstall windows as a last resort to fix my connection problems, i was doing ok until my computer decided after a windows update that i have changed the settings of either my modem or program and cant get me on the internet, its news to me as i didnt change anything and as much as i have tried and tried to reset any settings or even uninstall and reinstall both the program and modem its no good even my fathers dongle wont work either. im currently scouring the internet for a cheap version of xp as my fathers disc is an oem disc and its like cracking a safe trying to work out the product key as its a new disc since his origional installation.

i hope i can sort my mess of a computr out real quick and be able to return to active duty and retake my status as a regular member.

just as an update id to give up on the product key in the end i couldnt get it and instead opted to buy a new windows cd, sadly to say it has not fixed my computer woes, im having random system frezzes even though i have only had the operating system running for a week without many messing about adding programs or files to the hard drive. I can play OFP but only for as long as my comp lets me then its a restart and constant circle of reboot and crash

as of the moment i tried to attend squad night but the server allows me to log in but not vote on anything nor will it allow me to pick a mission and move onto the assign screen, anybody else have this problem?
